Mark Campbell-Blake was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in 2018. Despite changing his diet and having quarterly check-ups for many years, his diabetes appeared unmanaged. However, in 2024, Mark was referred to his NHS Community Diabetes Team, who worked with his GP to assess his diabetes management and medication. This resulted in Mark being prescribed “Mounjaro,” a new Tirzepatide medication. This revolutionised his treatment, and all his previous lifestyle changes now meant his diabetes was being managed.

As a result, Mark decided to write this book to help others navigate the complex maze of managing diabetes. It is divided into short chapters, and you may notice that there are repetitions in the text, but this is so each topic can be read and understood on a standalone basis.
